Players in the NFL

One of the cool things about taking pictures at Temple University football games is the number of players you get to take pictures of before they "make it big" and start their careers playing professionally in the NFL.  All of the images below were pictures I've taken over the years, whether on my Canon T3i in full manual focus or on my newer Canon 80D, of players that are now on active NFL Rosters.

Blake Bortles, UCF Quarterback #5

Blake Bortles (born April 28, 1992) is an American football quarterback for the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Central Florida and was drafted by the Jaguars in the first round with the third overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft.

Bortles was the Knights' starting quarterback from midway through the 2011 season to 2013. In 2012, he led UCF to a Conference USA East Division Championship and bowl victory. In 2013, Bortles led the Knights to an upset of then-#8 ranked Louisville to win the inaugural American Athletic Conference Championship, as well as an upset victory over sixth-ranked Baylor in the 2014 Fiesta Bowl.

Teddy Bridgewater, Louisville Quarterback #5

Theodore Bridgewater Jr. (born November 10, 1992) is an American football quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Vikings in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He played college football at the University of Louisville.
